![]() | APIs and Widgetization
PeopleAggregator has two kinds of APIs and a methodology for plugging in our user interfaces into any paralell codebase, web site or legacy system. We bring social features to any kind of software application, service or mashup |
| Personal pages
PeopleAggregator provides Public pages - which can display different content to different page viewers and Private pages - which act as 'dashboards' for every member. |
| Blogging
PeopleAggregator has a myriad of blogging formats available, including podcasting, vlogging, reviews, events and people oriented showcases. Every Network gets a blog, every Group has a blog and every Member has a blog and can route their blog posts throughout the system and to their external blogs - as well. And external blog tools can post INTO PeopleAggregator. |
| Groups
Members or Network operators can create Groups, which have their own Blog, Media Gallery, Message Board forum and Events. Groups can be tagged and are the way that humans can 'cluster' together on their own. |
![]() | Meta-Networks (hosted networks)
Every copy of PeopleAggregator is it's own meta-network - which means it's a network of networks. You can host social networks for your customers, employees or just about anybody. All of the source code you need to build your own meta-network platform is available. |
| Widgets (export friends, media, links, blog posts in one Widget)
PeopleAggregator provides a state-of-the-art Widget mechanism which enables you to combine your friends, links, content, groups, networks, media, etc.) all together into one module - which you can then export and plop into any other web page. We also combine content and friends brought in from external accounts.
| Messages (internal safe email)
Members can send safe, secure messages to each other via our own internal 'Messages' system.
| External Accounts (MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, del.icio.us)
PeopleAggregator supports the idea of connecting to other system outside our realm. So we enable member to import their external accounts into the system. This is just our first step in connecting to the outside world.
| Customization (CSS, modules, themes)
PeopleAggregator is designed to be modifed by the network members - as well as the network operators and group moderators. Besides deciding which modules should reside on a page, control is given over the look and feel (the CSS skin) as well as email notification, header graphics, ads, emblems, video and tours.
| People (search Facewall of members)
PeopleAggregator provides a People page - which visually displays the faces of the members of the network. Searches can be accomplished based upon specific information, meta-data or characteristics of the member.
| OpenID and other open standards
PeopleAggregator will be the living personification of an open platform, ready to support and mesh into complementary web services, standards and even closed proprietary systems - as well.
| Comments, Rating and Sharing
Every media item, blog post (of any type) and network can be commented on or rated in PeopleAggregator. Media can be shared within controlled circumstances. One's profile record can also be shared under control - as well.
| Tagging, Routing and Subscribing
