Groups directory

Groups – this brings the user to a Group Directory. The Group Directory page displays these modules:

  • Newest Groups– a list of the newest Groups in the network
  • Largest Groups – a list of the largest Groups in the network
  • My Groups – which is a list of the end-user’s Groups
  • Browse by Category module – This enables an end-user to browse through all the Groups by Category. Clicking on a category name brings up a sub-directory of Groups in that category.

A secondary menu bar of Groups Directory related menu items displays:
  • Find Groups –this page allows you to display all Groups alphabetically, or by date created or by size (# of members) of the Group
  • Create – this page enables a user to create their own Group:

The Group can be open (public), moderated (control who joins) or private (doesn’t appear anywhere but your ‘My Groups module’. Each Group has a title, logo, description and its own unique Group header (along the top of the page.)

Each Group is categorized and can be tagged.
