bringing social to software

Widgets

This tool enables end-users to create a Widget made up of any of their internal PeopleAggregator info, content or social capital.

Any elements from one’s external accounts can also be included in one’s Widget. These Widgets can then be placed inside one’s social network or blog page – via Javascript that the Widget tool makes available.

The Widget tool allows end-users to have more than one Widget.

So one could cluster “all their college buddies” in one Widget (collected from Facebook, MySpace and YouTube) or create a Widget of a recent vacation or specific topic (from video from

YouTube, photos from MySpace or Flickr and blog posts from PeopleAggregator.)

Widgets can mix blog posts, profile data, friend’s faces and group icons – all in the same Widget. Originating system logos are also displayed in eh Widget, so Widget viewers can see which friends come from MySpace, versus YouTube or Facebook.

Any combination of internal and external accounts content, info or social capital can be combined into a Widget and the Javascript provided can then be pasted into any other social network or blog page.

Widget tool users are provided with a WYSIWYG preview panel and the ability to select any particular elements to be included in their Widget.
